Class Description
Takoyaki is the dish that changed Joe Kimura's life. It is the dish that made him leave Gordon Ramsay's and dedicate the rest of his career to Japanese food and culture. Needless to say, this dish truly is one of a kind, and it must be experienced to know what it's all about! Mouth watering chunks of steamed octopus are griddled in a dashi based crispy batter with ginger and scallions, and topped with a secret sauce and mayonaise. Not to forget the dancing fish on top! The dish is a must try. Before the class you will receive the list of ingredients and equipment needed for the class. Most ingredients can easily be found in large supermarkets or Asian grocery stores. All our beginner classes are designed for home cooks and you will most likely have all the equipment already in your kitchen. You can be up to 4 people on 1 device in this class. This class menu usually covers: - Takoyaki octopus dumplings (We can also make this course with other types of seafood such as shrimps, just ask in the notes when booking.
